As an experiential learning activity for our new Business degree in Aerospace Systems Management, we are collaborating with Wallace State, Calhoun Community College, and others to design, build, test, and launch a small Radio-Astronomy satellite (STEM-SAT1) as early as the fourth quarter of 2023. We are soliciting donations towards purchasing satellite parts and components as well as supporting tracking station equipment. STEM-SAT1 is expected to be the first of several such space-related projects to benefit our Aerospace Systems Management, Advanced Manufacturing Management, and Management of Technology students.
To further our abilities towards being a leader in fields related to aerospace, aviation, and advanced manufacturing and to enhance our students’ top-quality education, supplementary support for these programs is needed. Thank you for helping support this unique learning experience.
